"Hook Down, Wheels Down" Part 1 This United States Navy publicity film released in 1971 shows the history of the aircraft carrier - from the Langley to the Kennedy. Film uses a mixture of documentary footage from 1900 to 1970 to show the carriers and their related aircraft in action, as well as interviews with retired Navy pilots.
