www.nevadamusic.co.uk Based closely on Akai's MPK49, the MPK25 is the small, portable controller keyboard for producers and performers who need detailed control over multiple parameters within their software via a versitile, user friendly interface. Featuring 24 semi-weighted keys (with aftertouch) the MPK25 also includes 12 genuine, velocity/pressure sensitive MPC drum pads...the same pads that have made the Akai MPC machines a favourite with dance and hip-hop producers for so many years, offering the classic MPC Note Repeat function and Swing parameters. In addition to the high quality keyboard and drum trigger pads, the MPK25 also features 2 banks of 12 assignable Q-link and 2 banks of 4 assignable buttons. The Akai MPK25 Performance Controller also has a built in arpeggiator allowing you to create riffs quickly and easily. Tap Tempo and time-division buttons allow for real-time control of the note repeat and arpeggio clock speeds. On top of all this, the MPK also offers pitchbend and modulation wheels, MMC/MIDI Start Stop transport buttons and a backlit screen. The Akai MPK25 connects to your PC or Mac via either a standard USB cable or a MIDI interface. All of the control knobs, pads, faders, buttons and wheels are fully assignable and are compatible with some of the more popular software packages on the market...the Akai MPK25 really is a one of the most comprehensive, compact controller keyboards out there, as versatile on stage as it is in the studio...and you get ...
